Caring for Your EIVVN Pieces

General Care Guidelines

Washing

  • Hand wash recommended: Use cold water and a gentle detergent designed for delicates
  • Machine washing: Only if absolutely necessary—use a delicate mesh bag, gentle cycle, and cold water
  • Never use bleach or harsh chemicals that can damage delicate fabrics
  • Separate colours: Wash light and dark pieces separately to prevent colour transfer

Drying

  • Air dry only: Lay flat on a clean towel away from direct sunlight
  • Never tumble dry: Heat can damage elastic and delicate fabrics
  • Avoid wringing: Gently squeeze out excess water instead
  • Shape while damp: Reshape cups and adjust straps while the garment is still damp

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Fold bras in half (cup into cup) to maintain their shape
  • Avoid hanging delicate lace pieces as this can cause stretching
  • Keep away from rough surfaces that could snag delicate fabrics

Fabric-Specific Care

Lace

Our delicate lace requires gentle handling. Always hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Avoid contact with jewellery or rough surfaces that could snag the intricate patterns.

Silk

Hand wash silk pieces in cold water with a pH-neutral detergent. Never wring or twist. Roll in a towel to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry away from heat and sunlight.

Satin

Turn satin garments inside out before washing. Use cold water and a gentle detergent. Iron on low heat (if needed) while still slightly damp, using a pressing cloth.

Embellishments

Pieces with beading, embroidery, or other embellishments should always be hand washed with extra care. Turn inside out if possible and avoid rubbing embellished areas.
